AESC is looking to add an Office Administrator to our team in Florence, SC.

AESC's Tennessee gigafactory in Smyrna, which has been operational since 2012, produces batteries for Nissan. The Kentucky gigafactory in Bowling Green will supply Mercedes-Benz with high-performance battery cell modules. The South Carolina gigafactory in Florence will supply technology-leading battery cells for new electric models produced in BMW Group's Spartanburg plant. About the Role

AESC is a world leading EV battery manufacturer with presence in Japan, France, China, Spain, UK, and the US. We are looking for an office administrator in Florence, SC to support the expansion of our Florence plant. The role requires strong organizational skills and clear communication. Working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What You Will Do 

The office administrator is responsible for providing essential support to multiple departments within the organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys balancing diverse tasks to support smooth day-to-day operations.
 

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform general office duties, such managing office supplies and inventory, ordering items as needed. Oversee office equipment, ensure functionality and arrange repairs when necessary.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordination meetings, visitors, and events. 
  • Assisting with project coordination and team communication.
  • Assist as needed with basic financial tasks such as invoicing, billing, and expense tracking. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient problem resolution.
  • Other duties as assigned.

This position does not require any travel.

Qualifications

What You Need

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or clerical role, with exposure to HR, and/or accounting functions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Understands and follows all standards of IATF16949 and VDA 6.3 quality standards. (training and awareness will be provided for those who are not familiar with these standards)
  • Understands and follows all standards of ISO14001 environmental standards. (training and awareness will be provided for those who are not familiar with these standards)

What is “Nice to Have”?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
  • Fluent in Mandarin
