About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Project Manager to lead the execution of complex, utility-scale energy storage and infrastructure projects. This role will oversee project planning, delivery, and stakeholder management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Senior Project Manager will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, mentor junior staff, and drive continuous improvement across the project management function.

 

 

What You Will Do 

  • Lead end-to-end project management for large-scale energy storage and infrastructure initiatives.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and success metrics in alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies; implement mitigation strategies proactively.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and decision-making across cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, sales, and services).
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, safety requirements, and quality assurance processes.
  • Mentor and supervise project coordinators and junior project managers, fostering professional growth.
  • Drive adoption of project management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Cualificaciones

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects in energy, infrastructure, or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Jira) and Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

What is “Nice to Have”?

  • Knowledge of utility-scale energy storage systems, renewable energy, or large infrastructure projects.
  • Understanding of permitting, interconnection, and regulatory processes.
  • Experience working with EPCs, utilities, IPPs, or project developers.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily an automated manufacturing plant with a concrete floor and is characterized by some temperature extremes, moderate noise, and forklift traffic. The individual must be able to perform all essential functions as appropriate on the plant floor, in meetings, and with employees, management, customers and suppliers.
