Responsible for providing support and guidance with the design of civil engineering aspects, construction, and maintenance of new and existing corporate battery manufacturing facilities across the US; contribute to the company's mission of leading in full-value-chain battery solutions for a sustainable future; collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, architects, and construction managers, to ensure overall successful project alignment and integration; prepare and review construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and estimates, to ensure accuracy and to contribute to future development; conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards; coordinate project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective project completion; utilize and apply knowledge of Project planning support activities (scope, schedule, budget, and resources), large-scale EV industrialization projects, green/brown field development, AutoCAD Civil3D, StormCAD, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, FlowMaster, WaterCAD, project constructability assessments, land development permitting processes, bid leveling, RFPs/RFIs preparation, and site feasibility/planning procedures to perform assigned duties; spearhead corporate civil engineering projects and provide support for key decisions regarding resource availability, constructability, and organizational benefits; coordinate project requirements and design specifications across diverse teams; and stay up-to-date on industry best practices and new technologies related to civil engineering and sustainable construction.
Location: Smyrna, Tennessee, and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US;
Salary: $165,000 per year

Education: Bachelors – Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Training: None;
Experience: Five (5) years in the position above, as a Civil Engineer, as a Civil Engineer II, as a Design Engineer, as an Engineer I, or in a related occupation;
Other Requirements: Experience must include all the following:
• One (1) year use of Project planning support activities (scope, schedule, budget, and resources), large-scale EV industrialization projects, and green/brown field development.
• Three (3) years use of AutoCAD Civil3D, StormCAD, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, FlowMaster, WaterCAD, project constructability assessments, land development permitting processes, bid leveling, RFPs/RFIs preparation, and site feasibility/planning procedures.
Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience.
