Role Purpose

As an Accountant, Accounts Payable Specialist, in our Extremadura Office (Navalmoral de la Mata), you will manage the full accounts payable cycle. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized, capable of handling a high volume of invoices while ensuring compliance with deadlines and internal policies.


Key Responsibilitites

  • Process, verify, and record domestic and international supplier invoices.
  • Manage payments and bank reconciliations.
  • Review discrepancies and resolve supplier issues.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing department and other teams to ensure correct expense allocation.
  • Prepare periodic accounts payable and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal procedures.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts payable or similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of the full supplier cycle.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Intermediate/advanced English.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of Spanish and European tax regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
