Role Purpose
As a General Affairs Manager in our Extremadura Office (Navalmoral de la Mata), you will lead the operational setup and daily service management of our site. This role is responsible for ensuring a fully functional, high-quality working environment, managing facility services, vendors, and employee support operations. The ideal candidate combines facility management, hospitality mindset, and operational leadership, with experience in launching or managing complex sites such as industrial facilities, hotels, student residences, or large service operations.
Initially, you will be part of the construction team, transitioning to the operation team once the plant construction is complete. As part of the construction team, you will be involved in designing the common areas of the plant, including the canteen, recreation area, and reception.
Key Responsibilitites
Site Operations & Facility Management
Ensure the daily operational readiness of the office and site facilities, coordinating cleaning, maintenance, security, and general services.
Oversee the layout, furnishing, and operational setup of offices and common areas.
Manage relationships with facility management providers, maintenance companies, and technical services.
Coordinate preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance with operational standards.
Support the transition from construction site to fully operational facility.
Employee Services & Workplace Experience
Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding workplace services and operational needs.
Coordinate employee onboarding logistics, including workspace setup, access, equipment, and welcome services.
Manage business travel logistics and visitor arrangements.
Oversee the canteen, break areas, and employee rest spaces, ensuring quality service and a positive workplace environment.
Promote a hospitality-driven workplace culture focused on employee well-being and service quality.
Supply Chain & Vendor Management
Manage the end-to-end supply chain for office and operational services.
Oversee procurement and inventory of consumables, pantry supplies, stationery, uniforms, and operational materials.
Coordinate utilities and operational services such as electricity, water, telecommunications, and other facility services.
Identify, select, negotiate, and manage contracts with external vendors (catering, cleaning, laundry, security, maintenance, etc.).
Monitor vendor performance, costs, and service quality through regular audits and service reviews.
Operational Setup & Project Management
Lead greenfield site preparation and operational setup, including office openings or facility launches.
Coordinate with construction, engineering, and operational teams to ensure timely readiness of services and spaces.
Develop operational procedures, service standards, and workflows for the site.
Support scaling operations as the site grows.

Desired Skills
Bachelor's degree in the business field (ADE, Economía, Empresariales, Turismo, Relaciones Públicas, etc.)
English fluent (C1)
Proven experience in Facility Management, Hospitality Operations, or General Affairs.
Background in environments such as:
Industrial facilities
Hotels or hospitality operations
Student or senior housing
Large office environments
Experience managing large-scale service operations such as:
Catering / canteen services
Cleaning and housekeeping
Laundry services
Security services
Demonstrated experience in greenfield projects, including office openings, hotel pre-openings, or site setups.
Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
